The M.C.A. (Cyber Security) Program is a full-time two-year Master’s Degree in Computer Applications with a specialization in Cyber Security. This program is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in Cyber Security and its subfields, enabling them to thrive in a technology-driven future. The objective of the program is to develop industry-ready professionals who are well- versed in both core computer science and cutting-edge cyber security technologies. The curriculum includes subjects like Computing & Security Foundations, Computer Networks & Security, Programming for Security, Cryptography & Network Security, Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing, Secure Software Engineering & Application Security, Database Security & Cloud Security, Advanced Cybersecurity & Research, Digital Forensics & Incident Response, Cyber Threat Intelligence & Security Analytics, Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). The program emphasizes practical training, real-world projects, and industry exposure to bridge the gap between academics and industry expectations. There is a growing demand for CS professionals across the globe, and an MCA in CS opens up a wide range of career opportunities in sectors like healthcare, finance, education, automotive, e-commerce, and more. Objectives

The MCA (CS) program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in Cyber Security fundamentals along with advanced knowledge in Cyber Security. It aims to equip students with essential technical skills in areas. The course structure ensures a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects, enabling students to tackle complex Cyber Security problems. In addition to core technical learning, the program emphasizes the development of problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Through workshops, project-based learning, and collaborative assignments, students gain the confidence to take on real- world challenges. The course is structured to promote a holistic understanding of the Cyber Security, including ethical considerations and the impact of technologies on society.  The objective of the MCA (CS) program is not only to produce industry- ready professionals but also to instill human values and responsibility. Eligibility & Documents

1. Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate should be an Indian National
  • The candidate should have passed B.C.A. or B. Sc. (Computer Science) or B. Sc. (IT) or B.E. (CSE) or B. Tech. (CSE) or B.E. (IT) or B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State)
  • he candidate should have passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. or B.Tech. or B.Sc or B.Com. or B.A. or B. Voc. etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State)
  • Valid score in any of the following common entrance examinations: MAH-MCA-CET, CMAT, & PERA
  • 5. Obtained Score of any other State level Entrance Test of States in India
  • Obtained non zero positive score in Entrance Exam.
  • Should have good communication skills
  • Should be able to converse, read and write in English given that the medium of instruction. The decision of the admissions committee shall be final in deciding the selection of a candidate.
