Course Details

The M.C.A. (Artificial Intelligence) Program is a full-time two-year Master’s Degree in Computer Applications with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. This program is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in AI and its subfields, enabling them to thrive in a technology-driven future.

The objective of the program is to develop industry-ready professionals who are well-versed in both core computer science and cutting-edge AI technologies. The curriculum includes subjects like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Data Science, Cloud AI Services, Big Data Analytics, Robotic Process Automation, and AI-driven Software Development, among others.

The program emphasizes practical training, real-world projects, and industry exposure to bridge the gap between academics and industry expectations. There is a growing demand for AI professionals across the globe, and an MCA in AI opens up a wide range of career opportunities in sectors like healthcare, finance, education, automotive, e-commerce, and more.

Course Objectives

The MCA (AI) program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals along with advanced knowledge in Artificial Intelligence. The MCA-AI programme is designed to equip you with strong foundations in computer science, software development, and modern computing technologies, while also building the practical skills needed in today’s rapidly evolving IT industry.

Throughout the course you will engage with core subjects such as Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning programming, data structures, database systems, Robotics, NLP, Expert System and emerging areas including cloud computing, data science, and artificial intelligence. Emphasis is placed on both conceptual understanding and hands-on application through projects, assignments, and collaborative learning.

We encourage you to participate actively in class discussions, laboratory sessions, and project work. Make full use of the learning resources, faculty guidance, and peer collaboration available to you. Regular announcements, academic calendars, and support information will be shared—please stay updated.

Admission Process

Application Form

Prospective students are required to fill out the application form provided by the institution.

Entrance Exam

These exams typically assess the candidate's proficiency in subjects like Mathematics, English, and Computer Science.

Merit-Based

In some cases, admission to MCA programs is purely based on merit, i.e., the marks obtained in the qualifying exam (such as graduation, MAH-MCA-CET/PERA-MCA-CET).

Document Verification

Once selected, candidates are required to submit certain documents for verification. These documents typically include mark sheets of the qualifying exam, transfer certificate, etc.

Fee Payment

After the verification process, candidates need to pay the admission fees within the stipulated time to secure their admission.

Eligibility & Documents

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should be an Indian National.
  • The candidate should have passed B.C.A. or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (IT) or B.E. (CSE) or B.Tech. (CSE) or B.E. (IT) or B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State).
  • OR the candidate should have passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. or B.Tech. or B.Sc or B.Com. or B.A. or B.Voc. etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
  • Valid score in any of the following common entrance examinations: MAH-MCA-CET, CMAT, & PERA.
  • Obtained Score of any other State level Entrance Test of States in India or non zero positive score in Entrance Exam.
  • Should have good communication skills and be able to converse, read and write in English. The decision of the admissions committee shall be final.

2. Documents Required

  • 10th, 12th and graduation original mark list and two Photocopies of each
  • Original Aadhar Card & one photo copy
  • Two Passport size photos
  • Income certificate photocopy
  • Caste certificate photocopy (if applicable)
  • Domicile/Nationality Certificate photocopy
  • CET Scorecard (MH-MCA-CET / PERA MCA CET)
